COURSE OUTLINE
This course covers a wide range of subjects required by someone wishing to increase their awareness of electrical safety or is an ideal introduction to office staff new to the role. This qualification builds awareness in a non-technical way and so is suitable for internal or external social housing staff. This VRQ award has been designed to give a good entry level understanding of some of the issues surrounding electrical safety within any organisation, including social housing.
Course outline
- different aspects of electrical safety
- an overview of key legislation that exists
- organisation’s responsibilities
- how your role can contribute to meeting compliance
- identify potential electrical safety issues.
The qualification combines a half-day guided learning event given by AESM tutors followed by a summative assessment consisting of a multiple-choice question paper.
THE ASCP NATIONAL ACADEMY
The session will be delivered by The ASCP National Academy who were established in association with CORGI Technical Services, to provide high quality training and qualifications to those with an involvement in, or responsibility for, gas safety, electrical safety and compliance.
