This course is a requirement for those working on the fabric of any premises built or refurbished before 2000 and those who influence such works. For example: maintenance staff, surveyors and asset management colleagues.
The course provides information on the properties of asbestos and associated health risks. It teaches you to identify products and materials that typically contain asbestos, the emergency procedures to be followed and how to avoid the risks from asbestos containing materials.
