This is a two day course which delves more deeply into the legal and operational nitty gritty of running asset management contracts. The training will use the JCT Measured Term Contract as it’s base and will look specifically at how delegates can practically manage contracts on the ground to ensure that it performs well.
Day 1: Mark London from Devonshires will cover the legal considerations on effective contract management. The interactive session will look at the value of effective contract administration, how to recognise common areas of risk and how to approach them. Delegates will better understand the material contractual terms and conditions, as well as the impact of disputes, and how to deal with them.
Day 2: David Ashby, SEC’s Head of Operations will deliver this session which will explore the practical administration of the principals covered on day one. The day will be a mixture of fun and learning – participants should expect to end the day with solid, practical tips and examples to use in their day-to-day work situations; enabling them to manage contract administration in a more confident and professional manner.
