In this seminar, Turner & Townsend’s Contract Services team and Devonshires Solicitors will seek to cut through the twists and turns in the Brexit process. Paul Greenwell and Alice Ellaby of T&T and Conor Rodgers of Devonshires will present a consideration of the implications this may have on your construction projects.

T&T, as specialists in procurement strategy, contract strategy and drafting, and dispute management, will cover:

  • Understanding your contractual risk profile
  • Identifying key contractual clauses that could be impacted by Brexit
  • Mapping risk in your supply chain
  • Brexit related claims
  • How different options for Brexit may impact construction projects
  • Emerging Brexit issues

Conor, a senior solicitor from Devonshires will discuss his recent experiences making Brexit provisions in pubic contracts – and the issues these present and wider legal and contractual implications.

Ticket cost and timings

The session is free, with breakfast and refreshments included. It will be held in Turner & Townsend’s London office, and breakfast will be served at 8am, for an 8.30 start.

T&T does not have any special insight into what the UK Government and the EU will actually decide (or not) over the next month, but they are producing regular updates on aspects of the above as these become significant. This presentation will therefore remain relevant and will explore the current issues as they evolve up to the date.
